Madonna will perform at the Super Bowl XLVI Halftime show, the NFL confirmed on Sunday. The NFL championship game, which will take place on February 5th at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, will see the pop legend team up with Cirque du Soleil, her frequent collaborator Jamie King, and visual artists the Moment Factory in a telecast on NBC. Fans of 'Saturday Night Live' know that not every sketch makes it onto the live show. Several are cut even just before they go to air, having survived through the dress rehearsal. Because of this, there is tape of most of these cut sketches, and 'The Tonight Show' had one from the most recent episode, hosted by Ed Helms.
